IT Home: On August 2, Yang Xueliang, senior vice president of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, announced the establishment of the Geely Auto Group Sales General Company to further strengthen marketing resource synergy across its brands. This marks the concrete implementation of the "One Geely" strategy within the marketing system. According to reports, the Geely Auto Group Sales General Company oversees six first-tier organizations, including China Star, Galaxy, Lynk & Co, and ZEEKR sales companies. Lin Jie, senior vice president in charge of marketing for Geely Auto Group, will serve as general manager of the Sales General Company and concurrently as general manager of ZEEKR Sales Company. Additionally, CATL will jointly operate a "battery bank" rental service with the Pinglu Canal Group to effectively reduce shipowners' vessel ownership and operating costs.
Gasgoo: Recently, a signing ceremony for Hefei Xinhuicheng Microelectronics Co., Ltd.'s HITS advanced packaging R&D and industrialization project was held in Jiading District, Shanghai, officially landing the project in Nanxiang Town. Policy Situation
Kuai Technology: The State Administration for Market Regulation (and the National Certification and Accreditation Administration) has officially enforced the mandatory product certification (CCC certification) management for electric vehicle power supply equipment. Relevant authorities will strengthen the baseline for product quality and safety by conducting tests on key safety indicators such as electric shock protection, short-circuit protection, and fire resistance, as well as inspecting on-site quality assurance capabilities and product consistency. Starting August 1, electric vehicle power supply equipment without CCC certification may not leave the factory, be sold, imported, or used in other business activities. The policy only restricts newly produced or purchased charging equipment after that date; existing charging piles already in operation do not require mandatory removal. However, subsequent station expansions or replacements with new piles must purchase products with CCC certification. Regulatory authorities will subsequently increase supervision to crack down on relevant violations, raise industry barriers, standardize the market environment, and strengthen charging safety guarantees for car owners.
CLs News: According to "Xi'an Release," Xi'an's auto consumption subsidy policy was upgraded starting August 1. Individual consumers purchasing new energy passenger vehicles included in the "Catalog of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempted from Vehicle Purchase Tax" will receive a subsidy equivalent to 2% of the invoice price, up to a maximum of 10,000 yuan. For purchasing new 2026 NEV models: vehicles with an invoice price between 90,000 (inclusive) and 150,000 yuan receive an additional subsidy of 2,000 yuan; vehicles with an invoice price of 150,000 yuan (inclusive) or above receive an additional subsidy of 3,000 yuan. Individual consumers purchasing used passenger vehicles will receive a subsidy equivalent to 1.5% of the invoice price, capped at 4,000 yuan. This auto consumption subsidy policy is effective from August 1, 2026, to October 8, 2026. The subsidy for new NEV purchases is based on the vehicle invoice time or order confirmation time, and the subsidy funds will be disbursed until exhausted.
