  • Gasgoo: On Sept. 1, XPENG Group released its August delivery scorecard. The company handed over 39,107 new vehicles that month — a 4% increase from a year ago.

  • Gasgoo: On Sept. 1, Li Auto released delivery data for August 2026. The company delivered 37,679 vehicles during the month. As of Aug. 31, its cumulative historical deliveries have reached 1,801,834 units.

  • Gasgoo: On Sept. 1, NIO announced its August figures. The company delivered 35,836 new cars, up 14.5% from the previous year. By brand, the NIO marque accounted for 21,174 units, surging 101.2% annually, while the Onvo brand contributed 8,810 units. Firefly delivered 5,852 vehicles, a 34.7% increase.

  • Gasgoo: On Sept. 1, Leapmotor released August 2026 delivery data. Global volumes hit 103,129 units, jumping 80.7% and marking the third consecutive month where single-month sales surpassed the 100,000 mark.

  • Gasgoo: On Sept. 1, Deepal, a Changan Automobile subsidiary, reported August 2026 sales figures.   • Gasgoo: On Sept. 1, the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) reported August 2026 delivery data: the entire lineup delivered 42,101 units, with year-to-date volume up 10.8%. Cumulative deliveries have now broken the 1.52 million mark.

  • The Paper: Volkswagen recently received complaints regarding Xingyu Optoelectronics' alleged mass dismissal of recent graduates. On Sept. 1, a Volkswagen China spokesperson stated, "Volkswagen Group takes the complaints regarding this supplier seriously and immediately launched a special investigation, which is currently underway." "Respecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers is a core principle adhered to by Volkswagen Group in all business activities," the spokesperson emphasized. "This principle runs through our supply chain management; we require that fundamental values and rights be fully guaranteed."

  • Fast Tech: On Sept. 1, reports surfaced suggesting Tesla is preparing for a wide-scale internal test of FSD v14 in China, with many internal staff receiving emails to sign non-disclosure agreements. Information indicates the testing scope has expanded from a Shanghai-based group of about 1,000 participants to an all-employee internal testing mode. Corporate staff who own a Tesla vehicle are now eligible to experience this version of the intelligent driving system. Participants must complete training and assessment, and all are required to sign NDAs by Sept. 6. The version is not yet open to ordinary owners, and no official launch timeline has been set; updates will depend on official Tesla announcements.

  • Cailian Press: FAW Jiefang stated on a recent conference call that first-half exports jumped over 30%. While profitability varies by region, overseas earnings generally outperform domestic ones. Future exports will be the industry's primary source of incremental growth. In core markets, the company will expand its lead by increasing resource investment; for emerging markets, it plans to strengthen local operations by establishing subsidiaries. Internationalization is a strategic priority for the company's "15th Five-Year Plan," and FAW Jiefang plans to sustain investment while managing risks to ensure steady progress.

  • Cailian Press: On Sept. 1, BYD Semiconductor announced that its new 4D mmWave radar chip, featuring the Xuanji A3 computing center, has entered mass production. Built on a 28nm automotive-grade process, the chip is designed to meet demand for high-resolution radar systems and integrates seamlessly with mainstream autonomous driving platforms. It has also completed calibration with the "Xuanji A3" intelligent driving chip to meet Tier 1 module manufacturers' detection requirements.
