Gasgoo: On Jan. 7, BOE and its business units brought more than 60 display technologies and IoT solutions to CES 2026, and globally debuted products including the "HERO 2.0 Intelligent Cockpit," showcasing its roadmap across in-car displays, AI and low-carbon tech. On the specs side, HERO 2.0 integrates several industry-first optical and acoustic modules. Its globally debuted Micro LED PHUD panoramic head-up display reaches 50,000 nits, supports AI voice and gesture control, and achieves a 98% complex-command recognition rate.
Gasgoo: On Jan. 7, Dreame's subsidiary Starry Sky Project announced it showcased the Nebula (Xingyun) Next 01 Concept at CES. Official images show an all-electric supercar concept in green, featuring a multifunctional aero front, active side airflow management, and active aero elements at the rear. The headlights use four light bars of varying length forming an "L" shape for strong recognition.

Gasgoo: On Jan. 7, Xiaomi officially unveiled the first refresh of its flagship sedan, the SU7. Early-bird reservations for the new-generation Xiaomi SU7 are open, with a pre-sale price starting at 229,900 yuan, and the model is expected to go on sale in April 2026. The update spans exterior, features, performance and safety.
Gasgoo: Changan Automobile issued a statement on Jan. 7 addressing online rumors about scrapping year-end bonuses. The company said the information is false. Changan's overall operating performance in 2025 remains steady, and incentive plans based on annual results and standards have been formulated and are being implemented to protect employees' rights and support sustainable growth. Changan added that the false claims have harmed its brand and operations, and it will take legal action against those fabricating and spreading misinformation.
Jiemian News: Corporate records on Tianyancha show that Hangzhou Lingqi Automobile Sales Service Co., Ltd. was recently established, with Xu Qi as legal representative and registered capital of 2 million yuan. Its scope includes NEV sales, auto sales, leasing operations for micro passenger vehicles, sales of NEV electrical accessories, operation of EV charging infrastructure, and retail of computer hardware, software and peripherals. Shareholder information shows the company is wholly owned by Lingpao Automobile Trading Co., Ltd., a LEAPMOTOR subsidiary.
Fast Technology: A blogger claimed that CarFans has confirmed ByteDance is jointly building cars with an automaker. After the post drew attention, media outlets sought comment from ByteDance. A ByteDance spokesperson responded that the rumor is untrue and the company has no car-making plans.
Gasgoo: According to the latest data from Germany's Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), in December 2025, BYD's new-car registrations in Germany were more than double Tesla's. In Europe's largest EV market, BYD's full-year registrations surged eightfold to 23,306 vehicles, while Tesla's registrations nearly halved from 2024 to 19,390.

The deal will combine Mobileye's advanced AI and global mass-production know-how with Mentee's breakthrough humanoid platform and deep AI talent bench, aiming to build a Physical AI leader spanning automated driving and humanoid robotics.
Gasgoo: Magna and NVIDIA announced a deepened strategic partnership to deliver end-to-end autonomous driving systems for automakers based on the DRIVE Hyperion platform. Jiemian News: On Jan. 7, CPCA preliminary data showed that from Dec. 1–31, retail sales of new-energy passenger vehicles reached 1.387 million units, up 7% year on year and 5% from the prior month. For the year to date, retail totaled 12.859 million units, up 18%. From Dec. 1–31, NEV wholesale stood at 1.554 million units, up 3% year on year but down 9% month on month; year-to-date wholesale reached 15.31 million units, up 25%.
Gasgoo: Beijing Keyi Technology Co., Ltd. recently closed a new funding round in the hundreds of millions of yuan, jointly led by Wuzhong Financial Holdings and Yuanhe Taohuawan, with Cornerstone Capital, Li Wanqiang and other institutions and individual investors participating. Existing shareholder BlueRun Ventures also increased its stake. The funds will go toward R&D on emotional interaction models for robots, mass production and go-to-market for new products, and the recruitment of senior AI talent.
