Looking at the broader data, Geely's October performance highlights a clear structural optimization. On one hand, the new energy sector breached the 200,000-unit monthly threshold for the first time, with a penetration rate approaching 70% — signaling that its electrification transition has crossed a critical mass. On the other, overseas exports have held steady above 100,000 units for five straight months, with a significant rise in the share of high-value new energy products.

NEV Penetration Rate Nears 70%

In October, Geely's new energy vehicle sales reached 214,996 units — a substantial year-on-year and month-on-month surge. This marks the first time surpassing the 200,000 milestone and sets a new record. Behind this figure lies efficient synergy across Geely Galaxy, Lynk & Co's new energy lineup, and ZEEKR in their respective segments, alongside steady gains in its traditional internal combustion engine base.

In the mainstream new energy market, the Geely Galaxy brand sold 153,385 vehicles in October, up 20% year-on-year and 18% month-on-month. On the product front, the Galaxy series is accelerating its market share expansion through a dense rollout of new models: the global debut of the Geely Galaxy Battleship 700 saw firm orders top 10,000 within 12 minutes, signaling strong hit potential; the Geely Galaxy TT saw deliveries surpass 10,000 in just 30 days, indicating a good match between production ramp-up and market demand. Additionally, the 1 millionth Geely Xingyuan rolled off the assembly line, proving the model's enduring competitiveness in the A0-class pure electric market.

In the premium pure electric market, ZEEKR delivered 32,483 vehicles in October, a 52% year-on-year jump. Notably, cumulative deliveries for the first ten months have already exceeded 320,000 units, allowing the brand to achieve its annual sales target ahead of schedule. Data from the China Passenger Car Association shows the ZEEKR 9X ranked first in sales for vehicles priced above 500,000 CNY between January and September 2026, further consolidating ZEEKR's brand premium in the luxury new energy sector.

The Lynk & Co brand recorded sales of 21,958 units in October, up 19% from September, with its new energy family contributing 18,521 vehicles as the electrification mix continues to rise. Production of the all-new Lynk & Co Z20 reached 12,000 units, sustaining strong nationwide demand. Meanwhile, the official global launch of the Lynk & Co 03+ TCR has not only elevated the brand's profile but also opened new avenues for its global expansion.

Even as new energy sales surge, the Geely brand's foundation in traditional fuel and hybrid sectors remains solid. In October, the Geely brand sold 102,357 vehicles. Notably, the "Geely China Star" high-end series, which targets the high-value market, reached 39,094 units, climbing 15% year-on-year and 11% month-on-month.

Strategically, the Geely brand has actively refreshed its lineup recently. This includes the global launch of the Xingrui L PLUS, the introduction of the 2027 Boyue, the new Emgrand Upward series, and the 2027 Binyue Super Energy edition. This portfolio — spanning sedans and SUVs, as well as fuel and hybrid powertrains — represents a precise iteration of core products, providing ample support for sustained sales growth.

Monthly Exports Top 100,000 for Fifth Straight Month

Globalization remains a central strategic priority in Geely Auto's current strategy. In October, overseas exports hit 107,153 vehicles — another monthly record and a 158% year-on-year surge. This marks the fifth consecutive month where monthly sales have exceeded 100,000 units.

As export volumes expand, the structure of those exports is undergoing a qualitative shift. In October, Geely's overseas new energy vehicle exports reached 82,565 units — a 506% year-on-year increase and a 12% monthly increase — accounting for 77% of total overseas sales. This data indicates that Geely's overseas business has successfully transitioned from early-stage product trading to a global layout centered on high-value new energy products.

Geely Auto is also accelerating efforts to build its global system. At the 2026 Paris Motor Show, the group made its first collective appearance with Geely, Lynk & Co, and ZEEKR, showcasing its comprehensive product strength for global markets. Simultaneously, Geely officially announced entries into Canada, Portugal, and Pakistan, further refining its global sales network. In Europe, the company signed its 100th retail outlet in the UK, deepening its localized retail network and laying the groundwork for long-term development in this high-potential market.

Notably, amid shifting EU trade policies and expectations of reduced export tax rebates, the room for growth relying solely on complete vehicle exports is narrowing. Localized production and supply chain synergy have become the focal points for the next stage of competition. In its third-quarter earnings call, Geely revealed plans to leverage partnership resources with Volvo, Ford, LEA, and Lotus to advance capacity coordination in Europe and Southeast Asia, while also driving core supply chains overseas to reduce localized costs.

In the fourth quarter, Geely will roll out new models including the Xingrui L PLUS, Xingyue L PLUS, Galaxy M8, and Lynk & Co 900L. The company continues to aim for its full-year sales target of 3.45 million vehicles, with an export goal of surpassing 1 million units.

Summary: Geely Auto's October sales data reflects a pattern of "record volume, balanced structure, and high-quality exports." The monthly breakthrough of 200,000 new energy vehicles is a concentrated demonstration of its capabilities in battery technology, platform architecture, and product definition. The efficient synergy of ZEEKR, Lynk & Co, and Geely Galaxy across their respective segments has built comprehensive market coverage ranging from the 100,000 CNY to the 500,000 CNY tiers.

With the arrival of the fourth quarter, Geely Auto has secured a favorable position for the final push. Driven by the dual forces of a new energy penetration rate nearing 70% and a rising share of high-value exports, the company is steadily transitioning from simple "volume growth" to "high-quality development."
