Distribution network supports European expansion
The arrangement will allow Lynk & Co to leverage Volvo Cars’ existing sales and service network to broaden its European reach. It also reflects Geely’s efforts to make greater use of resources within the group as it expands its overseas distribution network.
Competition in Europe intensifies
Around 20 Chinese automotive brands are exhibiting at this year’s Paris Motor Show, underscoring intensifying competition in Europe. Geely is expanding its presence through multi-brand product launches and the integration of distribution resources. The challenge will be to translate sales growth into sustained market share and commercial returns amid changing trade policies and stronger competition from established local brands.
