Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 1, Geely Automobile Holdings Limited ("Geely Automobile") released its sales results for the first half (H1) of 2025, reporting robust growth and setting new company records.
The company sold a total of 1,409,180 vehicles in the first six months of the year, representing a 47% year-on-year soar and the highest semi-annual volume in its history. New energy vehicles (NEVs)—including models from Geely, Lynk & Co, and Zeekr brands—contributed 725,151 units, surging 126% from a year earlier. The NEV penetration rate surpassed 52%, underscoring Geely's significant progress in its electrification transition.
In June alone, Geely Automobile sold 236,036 passenger vehicles, a 42% year-on-year spike, marking the tenth consecutive month with monthly sales exceeding 200,000 units. NEV sales in June reached 122,367 units, up 86% from the previous year, continuing to serve as a key driver of the company's overall volume growth.
Buoyed by its strong H1 performance, Geely Automobile raised its full-year 2025 sales target from 2.71 million to 3 million units—an increase of approximately 11%. The company said the upward revision reflects confidence in market momentum and highlights its growing competitive edge in product strength, brand recognition, and distribution capabilities.

Industry analysts attribute the automaker's continued growth to its multi-brand synergy strategy and accelerated rollout of NEV products. With brands like Galaxy, Zeekr, and Lynk & Co continuing to gain traction, Geely Automobile is expected to deliver higher-quality breakthroughs in both domestic and international markets.
In 2025, Geely Auto Group plans to launch nine all-new NEV models. The Galaxy brand will unveil four, including the recently launched Xingyao 8 and a mainstream midsize PHEV sedan based on the GEA architecture. In the fourth quarter, Galaxy will also debut its fifth-generation ultra-flexible hybrid platform capable of running on methanol, electricity, and gasoline, with both sedan and SUV offerings.
Zeekr and Lynk & Co will introduce three and two new vehicle models respectively. In addition to the Zeekr 007 GT, Zeekr's upcoming launches include the Zeekr 9X and a large-sized luxury SUV. Lynk & Co is set to release the Lynk & Co 900 and a midsize EM-P sedan.
