Geely Holding Group released its 2025 full-year sales on January 9. Group sales reached 4.12 million vehicles, a 26% year-on-year gain. New-energy models accounted for 2.29 million units, up 58%, taking new-energy penetration to 56%. It’s the first time the group has topped 4 million, marking five straight years of rapid growth.

Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. reported full-year sales of 3.02 million vehicles, up 39% from a year earlier. New-energy sales came to 1.69 million — a 90% jump — beating its annual target.
Among its brands, Geely Galaxy posted 1.24 million sales for the year, up 150%, meeting its "Million Galaxy" goal. Lynk & Co’s annual sales broke past 350,000, a 23% increase. ZEEKR delivered 224,000 vehicles in 2025, with December alone topping 30,000; its ZEEKR 9X led sales in the large-SUV segment priced above CNY 500,000.
The Geely China Star series exceeded 1.21 million units, rising 3% despite a softer market, and has stayed above the 1-million mark for three consecutive years. Volvo Cars recorded global sales of 710,042, with 323,294 new-energy vehicles, a 46% penetration rate. Proton sold 162,601 vehicles, up 6.5%, with its Malaysia market share expected to climb to 19.4%.
Polestar’s annual sales topped 60,000, rising more than 30%, and it unveiled the new high-performance GT, the Polestar 5, while continuing to expand its global network. Lotus’s Eletre achieved 30% sales growth in China, with the brand entering a new phase that puts the Chinese market at its core.
In commercial vehicles, Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group sold 162,019 units, topping the industry for the fourth straight year; cumulative sales have surpassed 500,000, and overseas business grew nearly 500% year on year.
Geely will mark the 40th anniversary of its founding in 2026. Guided by the Taizhou Declaration, the group said it will continue to drive internal integration and coordination, aiming to deliver a smarter mobility experience for users.
