Gasgoo Munich- Geely Auto Group officially unveiled its next-generation AI charging technology, "Geely Smart Charge," on September 23. Powered by the Xingrui PowerMind energy model developed jointly with Stepfun, the system upgrades charging speed, safety, battery health, and the intelligent experience. It delivers a peak charging power of 2.2 MW per charging connector and introduces three industry-first features: AI Extreme Charge, AI Smart Charge, and AI Auto Charge.

Regarding safety and battery health, AI thermal control predicts internal battery temperature changes 30 seconds in advance and dynamically adjusts charging power. This ensures the maximum battery temperature stays below 65°C, with the average controlled within 55°C. Combined with a full-link five-terminal liquid cooling solution and lithium-ion pulse repair technology, battery cycle life increases by over 20%.
Test data from the China Automotive Technology and Research Center shows the Lynk & Co 10 reached a maximum of 64°C when charging from 10% to 97%. The model uses the 12C Shen Shield Gold Brick battery. At ambient temperatures, the average time for the full charge was 8 minutes 40 seconds, while the 10% to 70% segment averaged 4 minutes 30 seconds.
First owners of equipped models receive CNY 2,000 in charging credits over two years, valid until January 1, 2028. For all new and existing users with this technology, the battery warranty is upgraded from 8 years or 150,000 km to 8 years or 200,000 km.
Official planning indicates that by the end of 2027, the company will build over 22,000 charging stations and more than 100,000 charging connectors. Among these, smart charging stations will exceed 15,000, achieving nationwide "county-to-county" coverage first.
