Zhejiang Jingneng Microelectronics Co., Ltd. (Geener) has completed a RMB 630 million Series C financing round, bringing the company's total funding to nearly RMB 2 billion across five rounds since its establishment four years ago, according to a post Geener issued on September 20 via its WeChat account The company said the latest financing reflects strong recognition from the capital market of its technology roadmap, development pace and commercialization capabilities.

As the AI industry expands rapidly, power electronics is emerging as a foundational technology area for next-generation advanced industries. Building on its accumulated expertise in automotive-grade SiC modules, Geener is expanding into higher-end applications including data centers, aerospace and controlled nuclear fusion, with a focus on developing next-generation power control technologies.
The company's product portfolio covers automotive-grade power modules, AI-grade solid-state transformer (SST) modules, embedded solid-state circuit breaker (SSCB) modules and multi-anode tantalum capacitors.
Geener said these products are built around high reliability and power conversion efficiency, with their development tailored to specific application scenarios and aimed at addressing challenges in AI power supply architectures.
The proceeds from the latest financing will be primarily used to advance R&D and iteration of core products, expand production lines and upgrade reliability testing and validation platforms. The company also plans to increase market development efforts, advance projects across various application areas and strengthen coordination across its upstream and downstream supply chains.
Pan Yunbin, CEO of Geener, said the continued development of AI depends on a strong foundation in power electronics. The company will apply technologies developed through its automotive-grade products across other fields and continue working with leading industry customers to co-develop solutions, he said, with the aim of delivering competitive technologies for a range of advanced applications.
