Gasgoo Munich-Great Wall Motor recently released its production and sales report for May 2026. Data shows the automaker sold 100,399 new vehicles last month, slipping 1.79% from a year earlier. Cumulative sales for the first five months reached 475,815 units, up 3.64% year-on-year.

Breaking down the performance by brand, Haval remains the sales backbone, moving 55,478 units in May. Its historical deliveries have now surpassed 10.44 million. Great Wall Motor noted that Haval continues to fortify its product matrix in the SUV sector.
WEY sales climbed 31.78% year-on-year to 8,119 units. High-end models like the Gaoshan and Lanshan have garnered positive market feedback, driven by upgrades such as the Coffee AI Sound system and the all-new 2026 smart cockpit.
Ora saw sales surge 206.88% to 6,018 units, posting the fastest growth among the company's brands. TANK moved 17,067 vehicles, bringing its historical total to 911,700. The TANK 400, 500, and 700 Hi4-T models have further solidified their dominance in the rugged off-road segment by blending off-road capability with new energy technology. GWM Pickup sales reached 13,628 units, pushing its historical tally to 2.95 million. The Poer series continues to lead the domestic pickup market, driving up the segment's value.
Notably, overseas sales jumped 46.75% in May, a sign that the company's globalization strategy is gaining traction. International markets have become a key engine for Great Wall Motor's growth.
