Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Chinese automaker Great Wall Motor ("GWM") sold a total of 1,233,292 vehicles in 2024, representing a slight year-on-year growth of 0.21%, according to a post on GWM's WeChat account.
Of the vehicles sold last year, the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector contributed sales of 321,795 units, which jumped 22.82% from a year earlier.
In addition, GWM reported a sales volume of 453,141 vehicles created by its overseas market business in 2024, showing a 43.39% leap over a year earlier.
It is noteworthy that both annual new energy vehicle and overseas sales broke historical records in 2024.

GWM also announced that the sales of vehicles priced over 200,000 yuan amounted to 309,588 units last year, displaying a 37.13% jump from a year ago.
In December alone, GWM recorded a sales volume of 135,286 vehicles (+20.25%), including 42,265 NEVs. In the month, the automaker’s overseas sales came in at 41,293 units.

Breaking down the full-year sales performance by specific brands, HAVAL ranked highest with 706,234 vehicles sold last year, representing a 1.25% decline from the previous year. WEY brand recorded a sales volume of 54,728 vehicles, which jumped 31.55% over a year earlier. Both Great Wall Pick-up and ORA brands faced a year-on-year drop in their respective annual sales. In addition, TANK sold 231,001 vehicles in the year, gaining a year-on-year leap of 42.12%.
Regarding the single-month performance, HAVAL, Great Wall Pick-up, and ORA brands saw their respective vehicle sales decrease over the prior-year period, while both WEY and TANK boasted a two-digit year-on-year jump.
