With the millionth sedan coming off the assembly line in Guangzhou Zengcheng second factory recently, Guangzhou Honda becomes the fourth car manufacturer's total output to reach more than one million. The other three were Shanghai Volkswagen, FAW-VW and Shanghai GM. in the light of the growth rate, total production of two million will be completed within four years.
It is reported that it is been14 years since the millionth vehicle of Shanghai Volkswagen came off the assembly line, 13 years for FAW-VW; it will take three years to four years to double the figure, experts predicted.
First of all, sales of one million vehicles means a broad recognition by the consumers, second it is also a signal for the company to enter a new era. The group will further promote sales bounded to more competitive prices and the supply of spare parts, and the competitive edge will stimulate sales growth.
