Gasgoo Munich-Gasgoo has learned that Zhang Fuzhi, deputy general manager of marketing for Great Wall Motor's Haval brand, revealed the side profile of the company's upcoming flagship on April 6.
The model adopts a rugged, boxy off-road aesthetic. Up front, it features rectangular headlights, while a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor appears likely. The rear sports a near-vertical window paired with an external full-size spare tire, and distinctive small blue lights have also been confirmed. Built on Great Wall Motor's high-end "Guiyuan" platform, the vehicle is positioned as a brand flagship with an expected price point around 300,000 yuan.

Separately, Great Wall Motor Chairman Wei Jianjun posted a video personally soliciting suggestions from the public for the vehicle's name.

In the video, Wei acknowledged an internal split over the name: one faction supports continuing the classic Haval H-series lineage with "H10," while the other pushes for "HX"—using 'X' to symbolize infinite possibilities. Ultimately, the company decided to launch a global naming campaign. Top nominations will be shortlisted on April 10, paving the way for a final vote.
