Official marketing touts the vehicle as the world’s longest-range 5C electric seven-seater. It boasts a 750 km range, 5C ultra-fast charging paired with an 800V architecture, third-row electric folding seats, and a Turing AI chip.
Pre-orders for the 2026 X9 EV opened on January 9, with the manufacturer offering five distinct configurations and gradually rolling out details ahead of the launch.
Visually, the new model retains the family styling of its predecessor while refining the details. Key updates focus on the front fog lights and bumper design, aligning its look with the Super EREV variant. Measuring 5,316 x 1,988 x 1,785 mm with a 3,160 mm wheelbase, the vehicle promises enhanced interior space and ride comfort.
At the rear, a smoked full-width taillight stretches the car’s visual profile with its flattened design. The rear bumper mirrors the EREV version, finished with a diffuser-style trim piece.
On the comfort front, standard features include electric third-row seats that fold flat, enabling flexible four- to seven-seat configurations. The cabin is outfitted with Nappa leather, 180-degree reclining zero-gravity seats, and RNC active noise cancellation. It also boasts the widest center aisle in its class at 180 mm.
For intelligence, the entire lineup comes standard with the Turing chip, delivering up to 2,250 TOPS of effective computing power. It also features the second-generation VLA "Private Chauffeur" system, pushing the upper limits of AI-assisted driving capabilities more than tenfold.
Pricing details remain under wraps. For context, the XPENG X9 Super EREV launched with two variants priced between 309,800 and 329,800 yuan. That model utilizes Kunpeng Super EREV technology, offering a 452 km electric range and a total range of 1,602 km.
