Shanghai, July 6 (Gasgoo.com) Honda Motor Co said on Monday that it sold 51,496 vehicles in China in June, up 53.5% percent from 33,550 units a year earlier.
The company also reported sales of 253,812 units in China in the January-June period, up 11.9% from 226,743 units a year earlier.
Sales were boosted by demand for Honda's City subcompact car, whose sales more than tripled in June to 11,878 units from 3,666 units a year earlier.
