Honda Motor has revealed plans to launch 100 new car dealerships across China over the next five years to meet the demand.
The company said that there are 680 Honda dealers across the region, and plans to add around 80 more to city centres and coastal areas before the end of 2009, to satisfy the demand for the Accord and City models.
Honda is expected to increase sales by 16% to 550,000 units this year, with a forecast for the fiscal year ending March 2010 exceeding by 50,000 units.
In addition, the vehicle sales across China has been increased by the introduction of nationwide tax cuts and subsidies as part of a government stimulus to help minimise the effects of the economic climate.
