Gasgoo Munich- Hong Kong-listed firm Horizon Robotics reported robust financial results for 2025, driven by surging demand for its automotive AI chips and solutions.
The company posted revenue of 3.76 billion yuan, up 57.7% year-on-year, while gross profit reached 2.43 billion yuan, maintaining a strong margin of 64.5%. Its automotive segment delivered an even higher gross margin of 67.2%, underscoring the profitability of its core business.
Both of Horizon Robotics' main business segments recorded growth, with its product and solution segment emerging as the primary driver. Revenue from this division surged 144.2% over a year earlier to 1.62 billion yuan, increasing its share of total revenue to 43%, up from 28% a year earlier.
Meanwhile, licensing and services generated 1.94 billion yuan, up 17.4%. The rapid expansion of the product-based business highlights the company's accelerating transition from technology development to large-scale commercialization.

Shipment volumes also climbed steadily, with more than four million sets of Journey-series automotive chips delivered in 2025, representing a 39% year-on-year increase.
Notably, the company is seeing a shift toward higher-value products. Shipments of mid- to high-level intelligent driving chips reached 1.8 million units—nearly five times the previous year—accounting for 48% of total volume. These higher-end chips contributed over 80% of revenue in the product and solutions segment, reflecting improving product mix and pricing power.
In China's highly competitive mass-market segment—vehicles priced below 200,000 yuan—Horizon Robotics' mid- to high-level intelligent driving solutions captured a leading 44.2% market share, according to the company.
The firm is also beginning to make inroads overseas. Its Journey 6B-based solution has secured design wins with two Japanese automakers for international markets, marking an early step in its global expansion strategy.
