As China’s first cockpit-driving fusion chip for intelligent vehicles, the Starry 6P packs a 5nm process, 650 TOPS of computing power, and 273GB/s of bandwidth. It can simultaneously drive 6 to 12 displays, meeting the rendering demands of in-car entertainment and multimedia systems.

Crucially, the company is driving down costs through technical innovation by integrating cockpit and driving functions into a single chip and a central vehicle domain controller. Compared to traditional setups, this approach significantly slashes DDR memory costs, cuts redundant components and wiring harnesses, optimizes space, and simplifies heat dissipation.

Consider a system combining entry-level urban NOA with a top-tier Qualcomm cockpit chip: the Starry solution delivers flagship-level performance and user experience at the cost of an entry-level domain controller. That translates to savings of 1,000 to 4,000 yuan per vehicle — a boost that can help automakers expand both profit margins and market share.

On the production timeline, engineering samples for the Starry series arrived in the fourth quarter of last year. The company is targeting SOP (start of production) in the third quarter of this year.
