Gasgoo Munich-Horse Powertrain officially launched its Intelligent Control Center Laboratory. The facility expanded from 30 square meters in 2018 to over 600 square meters, aiming to strengthen R&D verification capabilities for intelligent power control.

Dedicated to validating powertrain controller software, the lab spans over 600 square meters. It is equipped with 18 hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) test benches and 21 ECU network and information security test stations. These systems cover critical testing phases, from software functional strategies and network communication to diagnostic monitoring and cybersecurity. Using semi-physical simulation systems, the lab validates sensor recognition accuracy, actuator control logic, and powertrain-vehicle coordination, as well as OTA stability. These tests ensure product safety, aiming to deliver powertrain solutions that meet stringent design and security requirements.
The lab uses development processes compliant with international standards such as ASPICE CL3, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434. Through continuous integration and automated testing platforms, it achieved a test execution automation rate of over 90%. This approach accelerates R&D and ensures product delivery quality and consistency.
Horse Powertrain plans to use the lab to expand power electronic control testing into multi-controller coordination, system-level verification, and international remote testing. The company intends to integrate big data and AI technologies to enhance the intelligence and reliability of power control systems, offering advanced solutions for the industry.
