Gasgoo Munich- On July 16, Huawei Qiankun released a batch of key operational data, revealing a remarkable growth trajectory across ecosystem expansion, R&D intensity, and the pace of large-scale deployment.

Since mass production began in 2022, the Huawei Qiankun intelligent driving system has evolved rapidly from a premium option into a mainstream solution spanning all vehicle categories and powertrains. Its accumulation of real-world driving data and the efficiency of its algorithm iterations are continually reshaping industry expectations.

On the ecosystem front, Huawei Qiankun has established deep partnerships with more than 20 automakers, bringing the total number of deployed models to over 50. The portfolio covers sedans, SUVs, MPVs, and rugged off-roaders, while supporting pure electric, hybrid, and internal combustion powertrains. This means that whatever body style or energy source a consumer favors, they can likely find a model equipped with Huawei Qiankun on the market. From entry-level family cars to million-yuan luxury flagships, the system's market reach is expanding at breakneck speed.

Driving this expansion is sustained investment in R&D. Official figures indicate that Huawei Qiankun's R&D spending is projected to reach 18 billion yuan in 2026. The company has built a technical architecture defined by "cloud-edge collaboration and cross-domain linkage," providing a solid foundation for the continued evolution of its intelligent driving system toward high-level autonomous capabilities.

The most tangible growth, however, is reflected in real-world driving data. To date, the cumulative mileage covered by Huawei Qiankun's assisted driving system has officially surpassed 12.8 billion kilometers—a figure that continues to climb.

Coverage of a massive range of real-world scenarios has provided invaluable training data for algorithm models, directly driving the transition of Huawei Qiankun's system from merely functional to genuinely desirable. In terms of adoption speed, it took 42 months to reach the first 1 million units (January 2022 to August 2025). The second million is expected to arrive in roughly 12 months (August 2025 to late July or early August 2026)—a pace more than three times faster.

Currently, the cumulative number of vehicles equipped with Huawei Qiankun has reached 1.9 million, while assisted driving mileage has crossed the 10-billion-kilometer threshold. This has created a "data flywheel" effect for continuous iteration, demonstrating strong market competitiveness in both adoption speed and cost control.

Looking ahead, as high-level assisted driving accelerates its shift from a flagship exclusive to a mainstream standard, Huawei Qiankun is poised to play an even more critical role as an enabler on the intelligent driving track. Leveraging its full-stack in-house capabilities and open ecosystem advantages, the company's future technical evolution and market movements will be worth watching closely.
