On Jan. 1, 2026, GAC Group's HYPTEC AION BU said December 2025 sales data show monthly sales reached 40,066 vehicles — a new record for the unit. The strong showing was fueled by the newly launched AION i60, whose first-month sales topped 10,000 units, becoming the key driver of the overall increase.
The AION i60, a compact SUV aimed at the CNY 100,000 market, offers both battery-electric and range-extended powertrains. The range-extended version delivers a CLTC combined range of 1,240 km and a CLTC pure-electric range of 210 km. With a 2,775 mm wheelbase and features such as a 14.6-inch central display and exterior projection, the model squarely targets family users seeking versatility.

On the product side, GAC AION says the all-new N60 will debut in the first quarter of 2026. The car is rumored to come standard across the range with zero-gravity seats, massage functions and a highway navigation-assisted driving system, with optional lidar — aiming to carve out a spec advantage in the fiercely contested CNY 100,000–150,000 bracket.
Meanwhile, the higher-end Hyper A800 has opened blind pre-orders. Co-developed with Huawei, the smart flagship sedan measures 5,130×1,966×1,500 mm with a 3,020 mm wheelbase, and features Huawei's QianKun ADS 4.0 intelligent driving system and the HarmonySpace 5 cockpit. Its 1.5T range-extender setup offers 220 km of CLTC pure-electric range, while full tank and full charge combined range exceeds 1,200 km. Official perks for blind pre-order customers include paying CNY 88 to offset a CNY 2,000 intent deposit.
With the i60 breaking into the market and new models like the N60 and HYPTEC A800 following, GAC AION is bolstering its competitive position across multiple new-energy segments with a more complete lineup.
