Gasgoo Munich- IM Motors released its sales figures, showing April sales reached 10,016 units. Cumulative sales for the first four months jumped 130% year-on-year. This growth comes amid a deep industry adjustment and intensifying market competition.

The newly launched IM LS8 generated over 8,000 firm orders within 60 minutes of opening pre-sales. In its first week of deliveries, the model secured the top spot in its segment across more than 40 cities.

The IM LS8 targets the 250,000-yuan SUV segment. According to the company, the model is equipped with a 520-line ultra-long-range LiDAR and an Nvidia Thor chip, supporting L3-level perception and L4 model capabilities to enhance the L2 driver assistance experience. It also comes standard with a bidirectional 24° smart four-wheel steering system, allowing this SUV—measuring over 5 meters in length—to achieve a tighter turning radius.

On the powertrain front, the IM LS8 offers a Stellar Super Range Extender version with a comprehensive range of 1,605 kilometers. Interior features include a five-seat layout, B&O audio, 4D mechanical massage seats, and electric sofa-style seats. World champion hurdler and IM Motors brand ambassador Liu Xiang has also publicly endorsed the vehicle.

This sales milestone is attributed to the combined strength of IM Motors' entire product lineup. The brand currently covers the 200,000 to 350,000 yuan price range, including the IM L6, LS6, LS8, and the flagship six-seat SUV, the IM LS9. Officials state that each model is tailored to specific user needs within its respective segment.
