Gasgoo (Shanghai, October 21)— Analysts believe that the growth rate of stereo garages, which have advantages of low price and high space-efficiency when compared to the traditional, may be about 40% in the following years, based on the fact that increasing Car Parc in China has led to great demands of parking lot.
Car Parc of the country has been 172 million units by 2015, with a yearly rise of 11.35%, according to official data. And that may be more than 200 million units by 2017 due to additional 20 million units in 2016. There may more than 50 million parking lots needed in China, which will continue increase.
In the past years, sales of facilities for constructing stereo garages had increased a lot. Revenue was more than 11 billion RMB in 2015, with a yearly rise of 2.9%. However, factors including lack of space have limited development of parking lots to some extents in China. In order to deal with this problem, the government has launched several polices.
Expectedly, governmental policy may encourage the development of stereo garage, which may be help for dealing with great demand of parking lots in the country.
