Following its 2024 reveal, the Maextro S800 hit the market in May 2025 with four versions, starting at 708,000 yuan. Market reception was swift. Official data shows the model racked up over 1,000 firm orders within the first hour, 1,600 within 24 hours, and surpassed 2,600 in 72 hours. The latest figures indicate that cumulative deliveries have topped 15,000 units in nine months. For five consecutive months, it has held the top spot in the million-yuan luxury segment, setting a new record for domestic ultra-luxury vehicles.

The Maextro S800's success in the ultra-luxury market is fueled by technology. Specifically, its StarFlash device interconnect relay achieves ultra-low power consumption by industry standards, serving as a benchmark for low-power electrical tech and laying a solid foundation for the vehicle's competitiveness.

Building on this technical foundation, JAC isn't slowing down. It is now pushing for breakthroughs in low-power electrical technologies across high-voltage systems, engine operating conditions, and intelligent driving. At the same time, the group has identified upgrade needs for low-voltage electronics, smart cockpits, and exterior lighting, gradually forming a comprehensive upgrade layout covering the core electrical systems of passenger vehicles.

To address these needs, Gasgoo will establish a specialized platform for technical display and exchange on April 16. The focus will be on optimizing the Maextro lineup and landing mid-to-high-end models currently under development, linking top-tier parts suppliers with JAC's R&D and procurement departments for precise technical matchmaking.
