Gasgoo Munich- JAC Group Chairman Xiang Xingchu has revealed that the MAEXTRO S800 luxury sedan will be available in a bespoke edition. Speaking in a video interview with the official Weibo account of Anhui News Broadcast, Mr. Xiang—who is also a deputy to the 14th Anhui Provincial People's Congress—said the company will prioritize high-quality mass production for the sedan, as well as upcoming luxury MPVs and SUVs.

Earlier, at Harmony lntelligent Mobility Alliance's annual livestream, Huawei Executive Director Richard Yu provided a preview of a new ultra-high-end luxury model slated for release next year. Yu revealed that the design phase is complete and hinted that the name consists of just three characters—a clue that has sparked industry speculation about the vehicle's positioning and technology.
On the product front, two new variants of the MAEXTRO S800 cleared regulatory filings with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology earlier this month. The filings show the range extender has been upgraded, boosting power to 127 kW from 125 kW. The chassis features a double-wishbone front suspension and a five-link rear setup, paired with dual-chamber air suspension, continuously variable dampers, and a multi-wheel steering system.
Market performance has been strong for the S800, the marque's debut model. Since launch, order growth has accelerated: the car logged over 1,000 firm orders within the first hour, hit 3,600 in seven days, topped 5,000 by day 19, and surpassed 8,000 within 50 days. As of November 20, cumulative firm orders had exceeded 18,000 units.
With the introduction of the bespoke edition and production plans for subsequent models, MAEXTRO is poised to enter a new phase of product expansion and market penetration.
