Beijing (Gasgoo)- On May 26th, China’s major auto group JAC Group and auto-grade chip supplier Black Sesame Technologies inked a strategic cooperation agreement in Hefei, Anhui province.

The agreement specifies that the duo will put joint efforts in the AI chip, big data, cloud computing, and industrial investment fields, forging a sustainable partnership. Black Sesame Technologies will be a strong support to JAC Group’s autonomous driving platform. In addition, JAC Group plans on deploy Black Sesame Technologies’ Huashan 2 A1000 automotive chip onto multiple SEHOL models.
Leveraging each company’s advantages, both parties will work to build a data closed-loop system, which can effectively and quickly solve the challenges in algorithm development and volume applications on vehicles. The duo will continue to optimize the functions and user experience regarding autonomous driving software.
Building on Black Sesame Technologies’ chip, upper software algorithm, Shanhai toolchain, Hanhai middleware platform, the two companies will build a driving/parking integrated intelligent driving platform. The platform will also be installed onto SEHOL vehicles and will be upgraded in accordance with Black Sesame Technologies’ following generations of the big computing power chips.
