Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co Ltd<600418> or JAC Motors announced that it booked RMB 22.88 billion in revenue in the first nine months of this year, 54% more than that of the same period of 2009.
Net profit attributable to shareholders reached RMB 840 million in the reporting period, skyrocketing 228% from a year earlier.
The company has produced 333,503 autos from January to September, up 40% year on year, while 338,820 units were sold, up 46% year on year.
JAC Motors aims to realize production and sales of 1.5 million units by 2015. It owns a passenger car plant with annual production capacity of 300,000 units.
The automaker's second plant is under construction, and it will be put into operation in October 2011, with annual production capacity of 600,000 units.
