Gasgoo (Shanghai, April 8) — Jianghuai Auto released announcement on April 7th that, it signed agreement with Nextev to conduct cooperation on alternative energy vehicles and connected cars. The first model, Nextev’s first electric vehicle, will hit market in 2017.
The cooperative agreement mainly involves the following five aspects.
Deepen cooperation on industrial chains, construct development platform for the research, production and sales, and cooperatively research, produce and promote alternative energy vehicles and connected cars; Based on technological innovation on Internet and IoT, deepen advanced production base construction to form high intelligent, automized and integrated production system; Optimize supply chain resources and strengthen cooperation on key parts; Fully use of Internet and customers’ key demands to construct an intelligent, humane customer experience platform; Fully use of global technological and capital cooperation to integrate R&D resources and construct a global top-tier research, management and innovation team.
The two sides will start up a project team and held meetings on schedule to coordinate cooperative issues, monitor and promote cooperation’s smooth development.
Jianghuai Auto indicates the first cooperative product will be Nextev’s first electric vehicle through batch production. Model and key supplier confirmation work has been done and the model will be launched at the end of 2017.
