Shanghai, March 23 (Gasgoo.com) Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co (JAC) plans to debut a new midsize MPV model at Shanghai Auto Show next month, reports Beijing Times Monday.
Codenamed B-MPV, the MPV model will be built on the company's B-series architecture and will come with a 1.8-liter or 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, according to Dai Maofang, marketing general manager of JAC.
Dai said the B-MPV is 4,530mm in overall body length and 2,710mm in wheelbase. A sedan model based on the same platform will roll off line soon after the launch of the MPV.
Selling price of the MPV is expected to be somewhere between $10,000 and $14,500. The vehicle will formally go on sale in June.
