Shanghai, September 17 (Gasgoo.com) Anhui-based Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. (JAC) which produce both passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles, will launch its second sedan model -- a 1.3L A-class car named "Tongyue" (meaning "happy together" literally), reported Beijing News on September 15.
Following the launch of the first sedan Binyue, JAC showcased its first A-class car at the 2008 Beijing auto show in April. The 1.3L new model is available in a sedan version and a hatchback version, code-named A137 and A138 respectively. The new A-class car will go on sale later this year, priced below 100,000 yuan ($14,598.5).
JAC has announced its plans to release the details of A137 and A138 apart from the price at the upcoming Chengdu auto show on September 20. Named Tongyue, the A-class model will be launched to the market around November, a top JAC executive disclosed.
