Jiangling Holding Ltd, is a 50-50 joint venture between Jiangling Motors Co Group and Chang’an Automobile (Group), in October 2004.
The Landwind Fashion is the first vehicle the joint venture has produced.
Jiangling Holding has an SUV and MPV production capacity of 60,000 units at its Changbei Landwind base in Nanchang, East China’s Jiangxi Province. It has also started building another production base in Nanchang, with a production capacity of 100,000 units.
By 2010, Jiangling Holding hopes to expand its total production capacity to 150,000 units, including 50,000 SUVs and 100,000 MPVs.
