Gasgoo Munich- Jingwei Hirain and Geely announced on Jan. 26 that their jointly developed Geely 3.0 ZCU (Zone Control Unit) platform has entered mass production. Serving as the backbone of Geely's next-generation electrical/electronic (E/E) architecture, the platform is now integrated across nine flagship models under the Geely Galaxy and Lynk & Co brands, marking its commercial launch.

Developed collaboratively by both engineering teams, the ZCU 3.0 platform features high integration, intelligence, and safety. By consolidating body comfort and climate control functions into a single controller, the platform optimizes vehicle wiring layouts and reduces system complexity, providing a solid hardware foundation for future model iterations. It also incorporates Jingwei Hirain's proprietary full-stack algorithms, ranging from low-level electromechanical control to high-level intelligent decision-making to form a closed-loop system of perception, control, and decision.
Designed for multi-domain fusion, the platform supports functional safety levels ranging from ASIL B to ASIL D, with ample computing power reserved for future upgrades. As a significant domestic milestone in ZCU deployment, its architecture aligns with the industry-wide shift from distributed ECUs toward zone control architectures.
The platform first entered mass production in July 2025 in the Geely Galaxy A7. Leveraging its proven adaptability, it expanded to the Galaxy M9 and Lynk & Co series within six months, achieving volume delivery across nine models—demonstrating the partners' efficiency in technology transfer and production ramp-up.
Looking ahead, both companies plan to deepen their cooperation, focusing on vehicle intelligence and multi-domain fusion. They aim to facilitate wider application of these technologies across new models, accelerating the evolution of the automotive industry's electrical/electronic architecture.
