Keenon Robotics' Liu Fei: Service robots will account for over half the share by 2030

Gasgoo Munich-On May 19, at the 2026 (3rd) High-End Humanoid Robot Technology Application Summit, Liu Fei, chief strategy and technology officer at Keenon Robotics, projected that the global robotics market will reach 1.12 trillion yuan by 2030, expanding at a 20% compound annual growth rate. Professional service robots are set to outpace that, surging as much as 24.6% to hit 630 billion yuan — a trajectory that would make them the industry's largest segment.

Fang Yijun, head of Keenon's cleaning division, noted that the company's robots are already widely deployed across office buildings, commercial complexes, transport hubs, hospitals, factories, and public facilities. They tackle high-frequency, repetitive tasks like floor scrubbing and dusting. By tracking coverage, cleaning mileage, and consumable data, the company is pushing property management from an experience-based model to one driven by data. As robots move in, human roles are shifting from manual labor to equipment management and exception handling. Property services, in turn, are moving away from sheer manpower toward a new era of human-machine collaboration and intelligent operations.
