Dow Jones reported that Hyundai Automotive Group confirmed it will invest a total of KRW935.1 billion by the end of 2008 to expand its domestic assembly lines and engine plants. Hyundai Motor Company has earmarked KRW 535.5 billion to introduce new engines and vehicles and Kia Motors Corporation, an affiliate of Hyundai Motor, will spend KRW 399.6 billion by next year to introduce a new sport utility vehicle and produce more engines.
