Since the start of 2025, Leapmotor has maintained a strong growth trajectory. Full-year deliveries for 2025 approached 600,000 units — a 103% surge that secured the top spot among emerging EV brands and set a new annual sales record. Notably, overseas exports topped 67,000 units for the year, also leading the pack among new rivals.
In 2026, the A10 — the first model in Leapmotor's A-series — will bring premium features like LiDAR and advanced driver-assistance systems to the entry-level market, serving as a critical driver in the push toward annual sales of 1 million units. The D-series, targeting the premium 300,000 yuan segment, represents the culmination of a decade of technical innovation. Its first flagship SUV, the D19, debuted in the fourth quarter of 2025 and is slated for an April 2026 launch, while the flagship D99 MPV is set to follow later this year.
Leapmotor recently secured an "AA" rating from Morgan Stanley for the third consecutive year in the investment bank's latest ESG assessment.
"The year is off to a strong start, with January sales topping 30,000 units — thank you to every member of the Leapmotor family for your support!" Zhu Jiangming, founder, chairman, and CEO of Leapmotor, shared in a January sales video. "Over the past month, our new D-series models completed winter testing in the freezing conditions of Yakeshi. The D19 successfully completed the world's first extreme scenario test on ice and snow. In the first quarter, we're going all out to bring you the Leapmotor A10, delivering a segment-leading experience with LiDAR and 500 kilometers of range for under 100,000 yuan. Stay tuned."
