Leapmotor reports 57.2% YoY surge in H1 2026 revenue

Gasgoo Munich- Leapmotor released its interim results on August 24, reporting revenue of RMB 38.11 billion for the first half of 2026, up 57.2% year over year. Net profit attributable to the equity holders reached RMB 210 million, marking a third consecutive profitable half-year period. Gross margin recovered sequentially to 12.6% in the second quarter, while cash on hand stood at RMB 38.59 billion and operating cash flow remained positive.

Global vehicle deliveries rose 60.8% year over year to 356,487 units in the first half. Based on comparable new energy passenger vehicle registrations from January through May, Leapmotor ranked fourth globally, behind BYD, Tesla and Geely.

Its July deliveries reached 101,267 vehicles, up 102% from a year earlier. Cumulative global deliveries had surpassed 1.6 million units by the end of July.

Exports surged 372.6% from the previous year to 96,294 vehicles in the first half, exceeding Leapmotor's total exports for all of 2025 and accounting for 27% of its sales. The company's cumulative exports reached 113,863 units in the first seven months of 2026.

Leapmotor's product portfolio now spans the RMB 60,000-to-RMB 300,000 price range. The 100,000th A10 rolled off the production line 135 days after the model's launch, while the SUV led sales among Chinese brands for three consecutive months. The recently launched A05 starts at RMB 63,900.

Monthly sales of the C series have exceeded 30,000 units, with cumulative C11 sales reaching approximately 350,000 units. The D19 ranked first among large SUVs priced below RMB 400,000 in China for three consecutive months and recorded 10,043 units of deliveries in July. The initial batch of D99 MPVs achieved an average selling price above RMB 300,000.

As of the end of June, Leapmotor operated 1,064 sales outlets and 562 service locations across 298 Chinese cities. Its service Net Promoter Score reached 57.8, an increase of 39.6% year over year.

The company retained an MSCI AA rating for a third consecutive year, while its EcoVadis sustainability rating was upgraded from bronze to silver. Leapmotor is targeting annual sales of one million vehicles in 2026.
