Gasgoo Munich- Li Auto released its delivery figures for January 2026. The company delivered 27,668 new vehicles during the month — a 7.55% decline from the same period in 2025. By January 31, its cumulative deliveries had reached 1,567,883 units.
Alongside the data, Chairman and CEO Li Xiang outlined recent software upgrades. In January, Li Auto pushed out the OTA 8.2 update, introducing 40 new features and 25 experience optimizations across driver assistance, the smart cockpit, and the electric system. Notably, the update brings a breakthrough in the enhanced VLA driver model's ability to understand and make decisions within the physical world, allowing the system to navigate complex urban environments with behavior closer to that of a human driver.

The newly launched Pet Mode and AI Art Frame features have driven significant user engagement. Many owners are actively creating and sharing AI-generated pet screensavers, enhancing the emotional interaction of the in-cabin experience.
Li further noted that AI-driven productivity shifts are accelerating the evolution of smart EVs into "embodied intelligence" products, opening new avenues for growth. He expressed gratitude to users and partners for their support, emphasizing that the company will actively tackle industry challenges while iterating on a service system that is "more proactive, smarter, and warmer."
On the channel and charging front, Li Auto had established 547 retail centers across 159 cities by the end of January. Its network of after-sales and authorized service centers totals 547 locations, covering 221 cities. Charging infrastructure is expanding in parallel: the company now operates 3,966 supercharging stations equipped with 21,945 chargers.
