Gasgoo Munich- Li Auto released its delivery data for August 2026 on September 1. The company delivered 37,679 new vehicles that month, pushing its cumulative historical total to 1.8 million units as of August 31.

Citing figures disclosed by Chairman and CEO Li Xiang, Li Auto ranked first among Chinese brands in the new-energy vehicle market priced above 200,000 yuan during the first half of the year. Notably, the Li i6 has secured a spot in the top three for all powertrain types in that price range for seven consecutive months. Together with the Li L6, this model is set to reinforce the brand's competitive edge in the 200,000 to 300,000 yuan SUV segment.
On the product and technology front, Li Auto plans to officially unveil the next-generation Li MEGA on September 2, showcasing a new flagship MPV interior, spatial experience, intelligent platform, and driving dynamics. Following that, the all-new family flagship SUV, the Li i9, is slated for a mid-September launch to further expand the pure electric lineup. Meanwhile, the Mach VLA intelligent driving system will roll out updates to users on the Thor and Orin-X platforms in September.
Internationally, Li Auto will host a new product launch event in Dubai and gradually initiate sales across the Middle East. Li Xiang expressed confidence that as more new models hit the market and production capacity ramps up, the company is poised to break into the top three for sales among all brands in China's passenger vehicle market priced above 200,000 yuan.
As of August 31, 2026, Li Auto operated 487 retail centers across 160 cities nationwide, alongside 533 after-sales and authorized service centers covering 218 cities. In terms of charging infrastructure, the company has put 4,162 Li Auto supercharging stations into operation, equipped with a total of 22,939 charging piles.
