Li 6 adapted for European market

Li Auto selected the Li 6 as its first model for Europe after the vehicle recorded more than 190,000 cumulative deliveries in China in its first year on the market. The company said the Li i6 ranked among the top three best-selling battery-electric vehicles priced above RMB 200,000 in China for eight consecutive months in 2026. For its European launch, the model has been adapted to local roads, regulatory requirements and customer needs.
Built on a dedicated battery-electric vehicle platform, the Li 6 combines a spacious cabin with a focus on energy efficiency and driving range. Standard equipment includes a “Queen Seat,” a smart refrigerator with heating and cooling functions, and sunshades. The SUV also features a power-operated front trunk that supports multiple opening methods, while an optional powered tow hitch is designed to accommodate activities such as ski trips and weekend camping.
The Li 6 is equipped with dual-chamber air suspension and continuously controlled damping (CDC) shock absorbers, balancing handling stability with ride comfort. Its self-developed 800V high-voltage platform and 5C fast-charging battery deliver a WLTP-rated range of 640 km for the rear-wheel-drive version and 560 km for the four-wheel-drive (4WD) version. The battery can charge from 10% to 80% in 10 minutes. In terms of connectivity, the Li 6’s infotainment system integrates Spotify natively and supports Apple CarPlay.

In China, the 2026 Li 6 is scheduled to hit the market on October 28. Its updates include adaptive driving beam (ADB) matrix headlights, more comfortable seats, a power-operated front trunk, a 29-inch 6K panoramic display, a self-developed 96-kWh 5C fast-charging battery and the Mach M100 chip.

Building overseas operations

Since launching its globalization strategy in 2025, Li Auto has been developing overseas capabilities spanning products, research and development, manufacturing, sales and service. Its market-entry approach varies according to local market size and competitive conditions, with options including establishing subsidiaries, building dealer networks and appointing exclusive general distributors.
Li Auto established its first overseas R&D center in Munich, Germany, in January 2025. Its international and Chinese engineering teams collaborate on areas including vehicle design, chassis development and electric drive systems. The center also supports European market research and regulatory development and testing.
The company entered markets in Central Asia, Africa and the Caucasus in 2025. In 2026, its new Li L9 global model went on sale in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates, with adaptations covering charging performance, climate-control thermal management and the intelligent cockpit. Li Auto also began local assembly in Kazakhstan as it expands beyond vehicle exports.
Working with local partners, Li Auto is building an integrated network for sales, delivery and aftersales service. Customers purchasing vehicles through authorized channels can access official warranties, inspections and repairs, original spare parts, technical support and ongoing over-the-air software updates.
