Gasgoo Munich- In 2026, Li Auto is accelerating the deployment of its in-house developed components and AI technologies across its production lineup. This month, its new Embodied AI flagship SUV — the L9 Livis — officially went on sale. As the first full-size flagship to feature both Li Auto's proprietary Mach M100 intelligent driving chips and an 800V fully active suspension system, the L9 Livis marks a pivotal shift in the brand's supply chain strategy: from component integration to full-stack in-house development spanning its core powertrain, by-wire chassis, and advanced driver assistance systems.

Market Positioning

Built on this new technical architecture, the L9 Livis targets the RMB 500,000-class luxury full-size SUV segment. Against a backdrop of intensifying competition in large premium SUVs, the model introduces innovations at both the chassis architecture and underlying compute platform levels — raising the technology baseline for family flagship SUVs through the scaled deployment of proprietary hardware and supply chain restructuring. The L9 Livis is widely regarded as a key product in Li Auto's bid to sustain its competitive edge in the premium new energy segment through 2026.

Powertrain & Range

On the powertrain front, the L9 Livis comes standard with Li Auto's in-house developed third-generation 1.5T range extender paired with a 420 kW dual-motor intelligent all-wheel-drive system, delivering a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of 4.9 seconds.

The core energy storage unit is a 72.7 kWh 5C ultra-fast charging battery, enabling a CLTC pure electric range of 420 km. In terms of energy replenishment, the vehicle supports 5C ultra-fast charging. As Li Auto's 5C charging network continues to expand, the slow-charging bottleneck traditionally associated with range-extended vehicles is effectively eliminated — delivering an all-scenario energy experience comparable to pure-electric models.

Chassis & Body Control

Chassis and body control are the core technological upgrades of the L9 Livis. The vehicle features an 800V fully independent active suspension system specifically developed for full-size SUVs. Meanwhile, the L9 Livis comes standard with Electro-Mechanical Brake (EMB), steer-by-wire and rear-wheel steering. This full by-wire chassis architecture fundamentally changes the response logic of conventional hydraulic and CDC systems, enhancing vehicle handling flexibility and Body Attitude Control precision at the physical level.

Intelligent Cockpit & Cabin Comfort

The L9 Livis upgrades its intelligent cockpit hardware from the ground up. It features a 29-inch 6K panoramic display in the front row and a 21-inch 4K mobile screen in the rear compartment. At the compute layer, the cockpit runs on Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8797 Elite chip.

In terms of comfort, the L9 Livis comes standard with a seven-zone intelligent climate system, 29 enveloping premium leather-wrapped surfaces throughout the cabin, a new 10L smart temperature-controlled refrigerator, and Livis Pods headrest speakers. Additionally, zero-gravity seats for both the first and second rows, capacitive anti-pinch electric doors across all positions, and a 9.3.6 Flawless Star-Ring Theater sound system delivering up to 5,440W further elevate the overall cabin specification.

Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS)

The L9 Livis is equipped with a Dual Mach intelligent driving system. At its core are two Mach M100 intelligent driving chips, developed in-house by Li Auto. Each chip builds on the advanced 5nm process with a dynamic dataflow architecture and delivers a computing power of 1,280 TOPS, giving the Li L9 Livis a total of 2,560 TOPS.

On the sensing side, the vehicle integrates four LiDAR units paired with a 3D Vision Transformer (ViT) perception model, extending forward perception range to 300 metres. Leveraging the Mach Vision-Language-Action (VLA) large model, the system supports high-level functions including City NOA and full-scenario intelligent parking.

To further analyze the core competitiveness of this full-size flagship range-extended SUV, Gasgoo has compiled a detailed map on the L9 Livis's core component suppliers. We welcome corrections and additions from industry peers.
