March has brought a surge of new models to the auto market. According to incomplete statistics from Gasgoo, over ten heavy hitters are launching or debuting this month, headlined by the highly anticipated 2026 XPENG X9 pure electric version, the GAC HYPTEC A800, the all-new Denza Z9GT, and the BYD Great Tang. Here is a roundup of the models arriving in March.
Already Launched
2026 XPENG X9 BEV
The 2026 XPENG X9 BEV officially launched on March 2, introducing five variants priced between 309,800 and 369,800 CNY. Range starts at 650 km and extends to 750 km. Simultaneously, XPENG unveiled a 2026 X9 Super Range Extender Ultra SE edition priced at 321,800 CNY.

The car is billed as the "world's longest-range 5C pure-electric large seven-seater," with 5C ultra-fast charging standard across the lineup. It offers a CLTC range of 750 km and consumes 15.9 kWh per 100 km. Standard features include electric three-row "three-fold" seats that create 4/5/6/7-seat layouts, and zero-gravity seats equipped with airbags that recline 180 degrees. It also features a 180 mm central aisle—the widest in its class.
Additionally, the new model comes standard with active rear-wheel steering, achieving a minimum turning radius of 5.4 m, along with intelligent dual-chamber air suspension and a run-flat stability system. On the intelligence front, the 2026 XPENG X9 BEV features the Turing chip as standard, delivering up to 2,250 TOPS of effective computing power, while the AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) operating speed has been raised to 130 km/h.
GAC Aion i60 Range Extender Success Edition
The GAC Aion i60 National Range Extender 210 Success Edition officially hit the market on March 2 with a price tag of just 102,800 CNY. The model aims to lower the entry price and boost competitiveness by optimizing the configuration mix while maintaining the existing feature set.

Visually, the new model adopts a fresh front fascia, complete with dual LED headlight clusters, while vertical air intake ducts on both sides house small blue auxiliary driving lights. In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4,685 / 1,850 / 1,660 mm (L/W/H) with a wheelbase of 2,775 mm—105 mm longer than the AION V.
Power comes from a 1.5L range-extender dedicated engine paired with a 29 kWh battery pack, delivering a CLTC pure electric range of 210 km and a comprehensive range of 1,240 km. The vehicle uses a front-mounted single motor with a maximum output of 180 kW (approx. 245 hp) and a peak torque of 280 Nm, with an official fuel consumption of 5.5L/100km when the battery is depleted. Charging support includes 3C fast-charging technology, replenishing 30%-80% of power in just 15 minutes.

GAC HYPTEC A800
Recently, GAC HYPTEC officials confirmed that the A800 model will officially launch on March 4. Positioned as a flagship mid-to-large sedan, the car targets high-end business and family travel scenarios.

On the exterior, the new model features a closed front design paired with split headlights, along with hidden door handles and a choice of 20-inch 12-spoke turbine-style or 7-spoke butterfly-style wheels. Dimensions come in at 5,130 x 1,966 x 1,500 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,020 mm.
Power is provided by a range-extender system centered around a 1.5T engine, with the range extender producing a maximum output of 118 kW. Depending on the configuration, buyers can choose between a 200 kW rear-mounted single motor or a 440 kW tri-motor setup. Battery-wise, all versions feature a 35.03 kWh LFP pack, delivering a WLTC pure electric range of 178 km or 163 km.
BYD Great Tang
On March 3, Lu Tian, General Manager of BYD's Dynasty Network Sales Division, released official images of the network's first D-class flagship SUV, the "BYD Great Tang," (or Datang in Chinese) confirming a launch date of March 5.

Visually, the car largely retains the design language of the Dynasty-D concept car. The front features a new-style continuous light bar and an illuminated logo for high recognition, while vertical headlights flank the closed grille to widen the visual stance. The lower bumper incorporates a trapezoidal air intake design.
The Datang pure electric version is built on BYD's super e-platform, utilizing a full-domain 1000V high-voltage architecture. Paired with a flash-charging battery offering 10C charging rates and a 1000A current, the system is expected to achieve a maximum charging power of 1000 kW.
All-New Denza Z9GT
On March 2, BYD's Denza brand announced that the all-new Z9GT will receive a technological refresh on March 5. The company claims the pure electric version boasts a range of 1,036 km.

Styling continues the family design language, adding a "Fjord Green" exterior color and a small blue light for intelligent driving prompts. The LiDAR has been moved to the roof, and new 21-inch wheels are offered. The car measures 5,195 (5,180) / 1,990 / 1,480 (1,500) mm (L/W/H) with a wheelbase of 3,125 mm.
Powertrain options include single-motor and tri-motor configurations. The single-motor version delivers a maximum output of 370 kW, while the high-power tri-motor version features front and rear motors with outputs of 230 kW, 310 kW, and 310 kW respectively.
The pure electric version swaps in two battery specifications—102.326 kWh and 122.496 kWh—offering five CLTC range options: 820 km, 860 km, 880 km, 1,002 km, and 1,036 km. The plug-in hybrid variant carries a 63.82 kWh battery, delivering 301 km of WLTC pure electric range and over 400 km under CLTC standards. Compared to the current model, pure electric endurance has seen a significant boost.
Third-Generation Lynk & Co 03 Large Spoiler Edition
Recently, Lynk & Co officials announced that the third-generation 03 Large Spoiler Edition will launch on March 5. As the highlight of this upgrade, it features a three-stage adjustable carbon fiber wing supporting 0°/8°/16° angle adjustments. The side panel is engraved with a map of the Ningbo International Circuit, highlighting elements of Chinese motorsport.

Inside, the cabin is equipped with a "Blazing Red" interior that pushes the sporty atmosphere to the limit. Extensive red leather wraps the seats, door panels, and center console, combined with stitching and carbon fiber trim panels to create a visual effect resembling flowing track afterimages.
Under the hood, it houses a Drive-E 2.0TD T5 Evo turbocharged engine paired with an Aisin 8AT transmission, delivering a maximum of 272 hp and a peak torque of 400 Nm. The 0-100 km/h sprint takes just 6.5 seconds.
Buick ENCASA MPV Pure Electric Edition
On March 2, the Buick ENCASA Pure Electric Edition officially opened for pre-sales, with a market launch set for March 17.

On the exterior, the vehicle features a dual-tone matte paint job using a million-yuan level bespoke coating process, continuing the "Land Business Cabin" design language. The "Matte Grey" dual-tone bespoke finish draws inspiration from spring mountain mist—a custom creation from BASF for Buick, embedding 6 billion nano-level matting particles per square meter. In terms of size, the ENCASA MPV Pure Electric Edition measures 5,260 × 2,023 × 1,820 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm.
Built on a 900V architecture, the powertrain offers two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options. The AWD version features front and rear motors with maximum outputs of 332 kW and 150 kW respectively, and a pure electric range of 601 km or 632 km. It carries a 6C ultra-fast-charging battery with a peak charging power of 640 kW, capable of adding over 400 km of range in 10 minutes.
Toyota Bozhi 7
Recently, GAC Toyota officially announced that its new flagship pure electric mid-to-large sedan, the Bozhi 7, will officially start pre-sales on March 5, with plans to launch and begin deliveries in the first quarter of this year.

The exterior adopts Toyota's latest electrified design language—simple and atmospheric yet sporty, with an underlying Oriental aesthetic. The front features a closed grille paired with a wrap-around LED daytime running light, creating a "Hammerhead Shark" biomimetic look. The light clusters on both sides integrate with vertical ventilation openings, optimizing heat dissipation while boosting front-end recognition.
On the intelligent tech front, the Bozhi 7 will feature Huawei's HarmonyOS cockpit and the Momenta R6 advanced driver assistance system, which reportedly supports assisted driving in both urban and highway conditions. The vehicle is also equipped with an intelligent preview dual-chamber air suspension system. Power-wise, it uses a Huawei-supplied drive motor with a maximum output of 207 kW and a top speed of 180 km/h.
New Arcfox Alpha S5
On March 1, Arcfox announced pre-sales for its new Alpha S5, with an official guide price starting from 117,800 CNY and a subsidized price starting from 112,800 CNY. The new model is expected to hit the market in mid-to-late March.

Visually, the new model continues the "Wind Sculpture" aesthetic with a more aggressive front fascia, adding an exclusive "Phantom Green" paint and dual-tone body options for maximum recognition. Inside, the center console features a 15.6-inch floating screen and a 68-inch AR-HUD. The infotainment system upgrades to BAIC's Yuanjing OS, powered by a Qualcomm 8775 chip, and supports CarPlay and HUAWEI HiCar connectivity, integrating the Yuanjing AI large model.
In terms of powertrain, the new Arcfox Alpha S5 adds a range-extender variant alongside the existing pure electric version. The pure electric version continues to offer single- and dual-motor layouts, with the dual-motor version sprinting from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. The all-wheel-drive version utilizes an 800V high-voltage super-charging platform with a peak charging power of 404 kW, adding 260 km of range in 10 minutes and charging from 30% to 80% in just 9 minutes.
The range-extender version uses a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine as a range extender with a maximum output of 77 kW, while the drive motor delivers 200 kW. It is paired with a 27.4 kWh LFP battery, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 175 km.
Chery iCAR V27
As the iCAR brand's first range-extender model and its largest SUV, the V27 is positioned as a smart, rugged five-seater "Box" SUV, expected to officially launch in the first quarter of this year.

The iCAR V27 retains the family design language with a rugged overall style and the classic boxy silhouette. The front is stylish yet tough, featuring a rugged front bumper paired with round headlights for a sense of power and retro appeal. The "iCAR" logo is embedded next to the left headlight with a blacked-out treatment for a distinctive visual effect.
Under the hood, the iCAR V27 employs Chery's "Golden" range-extender system, combining a 1.5T range extender with an electric motor. Buyers can choose between a single-motor rear-wheel-drive or a dual-motor four-wheel-drive setup. The 1.5T range extender produces a maximum output of 115 kW, while the front and rear motors in the four-wheel-drive version deliver 150 kW and 185 kW respectively, for a total system output of 335 kW. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds, offers a CLTC pure electric range of 210 km, and has a comprehensive range exceeding 1,200 km.
New Kia Sportage
As a mid-cycle facelift, the new Sportage rolled off the assembly line on February 7 and is expected to launch in March.

Up front, the new model features a redesigned "Star Map" zigzag daytime running light, paired with a horizontal black grille and chrome trim to create a wider visual stance. The rear is equipped with a continuous "Star Map" taillight that echoes the front, complemented by a sporty spoiler and a dual-tone rear bumper for added layering.
Inside, the cabin adopts a new two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, and the center console design ahead of the armrest differs from the previous model. Additionally, the new model will feature the next-generation ccNC intelligent cockpit system, introducing a large HUD, UWB digital key, and intelligent IFS projection headlights.
Built on the i-GMP platform, the new Sportage offers a choice of two turbocharged engines: a 1.5T and a 2.0T, both paired with an 8AT transmission. The 1.5T engine peaks at 147 kW, while the 2.0T unit delivers a maximum output of 180 kW.
