Mazda Motor Corporation and Mazda (China) Motor Co., Ltd. has jointly announced that Mazda and one of its joint venture companies in China will donate 2.5 million yuan ($358,000) through the organizations such as Red Cross Society of China for rescue and recovery efforts in Sichuan Province, which was hit by a devastating earthquake on May 12.
The donation includes 1 million yuan contributed by Mazda Motor Corporation and Mazda (China) Motor Co., Ltd., 1.5 million yuan from joint venture affiliate Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd.
