The latest reports show that Mazda3 1.6L, to be launched on July 28, will cost between 126,800 and 146,800 yuan.

Yu Hongjiang, a senior sales manager with First Automotive Works Corp (FAW), said during the fifth Changchun Auto Show that Mazda3 1.6L is to become a hot potato in the A-range auto market basing on the fact that the 1.6L models currently account for 68% of the total sales in the market segment, while 2.0L models only take 5% . It is reported that Mazda3 2.0L has maintained a sales of 2,000 units per month after launch.
Another Mazda5 will be imported to the Chinese market this year and the new-generation Mazda6 will also start production in this market.
