Mercedes-Benz in the Chinese market (including Hong Kong) achieved sales of 4,800 vehicles from January to February, an increase of as much as 52%. China mainland sales increased 67%.
Sales of Mercedes-Benz were 82,000 vehicles in February 2007 globally. 159,700 vehicles were sold in the first two months, an increase of 2%.
S-class sedan sales in China from January to February reached 2,300 units, an increase of 110%.

The first two months of sales data showed Mercedes-Benz luxury car market continue to maintain a leading position in China. And the continued growth of sales in China’s market showed that Mercedes-Benz plays an increasingly important role in the Chinese market.
