Gasgoo Munich- Minth Group disclosed in a Hong Kong Stock Exchange filing on February 9 that it has reached a framework agreement with Leader Harmonious ("Leaderdrive") on the key terms for establishing a joint venture in the United States. The proposed company will focus on the design, manufacturing, and commercialization of humanoid robot joint module assemblies for the North American market.
Under the preliminary arrangement, Minth's California subsidiary is expected to hold a 60% stake in the joint venture, with Leaderdrive owning the remaining 40 percent. Initial paid-in capital is projected at USD 10 million, which the two parties plan to contribute in proportion to their respective shareholdings.
Minth Group is best known as a global supplier of automotive components, with operations spanning two core segments: auto parts and tooling. Its automotive portfolio covers metal and decorative trims, plastic components, aluminum parts, and battery enclosures, while its tooling business provides molds, inspection tools, and fixtures used in the development and production of exterior and body structure components across a worldwide manufacturing footprint.
Building on this industrial base, Minth has in recent years stepped up its expansion into emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence, robotics, low-altitude mobility, and intelligent transportation. The company is aiming to leverage its mass-production expertise, global network, and localized operations to cultivate a second growth engine and position itself as a leading supplier of robotic system components.
A key strategic consideration for Minth is end-to-end commercialization. The group believes that establishing localized assembly, delivery, and after-sales service capabilities for humanoid robot joint modules in North America will be critical to achieving long-term, sustainable growth in the region.

Leaderdrive, listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange's STAR Market, specializes in the development and production of high-performance harmonic reducers and other precision transmission components.
By combining Minth's industrial scale and global operations with Leaderdrive's expertise in precision drive technologies, the partnership is expected to deepen collaboration in humanoid robot joint modules, create industrial synergies, and open up new revenue streams for both companies.
