Mitsubishi to launch new Pajero SUV in China in Nov

Shanghai August 19 (Gasgoo.com) Japanese carmaker Mitsubishi Motors is planning to launch the new Pajero SUV in China in November, the company's dealers said recently.


Likely to be priced at 453,000 yuan ($66,700), the new Pajero SUV borrows the 3.0L six-cylinder gasoline engine (177hp) and five-speed Tiptronic transmission from the existing model that is now sold at 438,000 yuan.


The new Pajero SUV will also come with five airbags, electric sunroof, cruise control, leather seats, heated seats and other safety configurations.

Apart from that, a rear differential lock and a rear tow hook have been added to the new Pajero, greatly improving its off-road performance.
