Gasgoo Munich-At the Huawei Connect 2026, Beijing Motphys Technology Co. and Huawei have jointly unveiled an embodied intelligence simulation solution. Anchored by Motphys's MotrixSim physics engine and MotrixLab training platform, the system creates a full-stack infrastructure spanning everything from simulation and reinforcement learning to real-machine deployment.

Leveraging Huawei's computing ecosystem—specifically Kunpeng and Ascend—the partnership saw Motphys run MotrixSim engine v0.6.0 through full-cycle joint verification with Kunpeng. That process covered code construction, pipeline integration, performance tuning, and commercial release, earning Kunpeng COMPATIBLE and Kunpeng NATIVE co-development certifications on April 3.
On the technical front, the MotrixSim engine operates independently of external physics libraries, with its Rust compiler backend offering native support for the AArch64 instruction set. During systematic optimization tests on the Kunpeng platform, throughput surged 103.3% against the original architecture baseline under identical configurations. Peak instantaneous performance reached 362,202 steps/s, while steady-state long-sequence configurations held at 345,335 steps/s.
Motphys Chief Architect Sun Jiaqi told the conference that scaling embodied intelligence is bottlenecked by training infrastructure. The solution follows a Real2Sim2Real path, constructing a closed loop that spans the physics simulation engine, training framework, and data engine. This allows robots to train in virtual environments and migrate policies to real hardware for verification using zero-shot transfer.
The technology has already been validated across multiple robotic tasks. From robotic arm grasping and dexterous hand manipulation to quadruped locomotion, the solution achieved training without real-world data. Notably, a basic walking strategy for a robot dog was trained in just 12 seconds on a standard laptop.
The newly released simulation solution has been officially integrated into Huawei's ecosystem partner portfolio. On the business front, Motphys has established a virtual-real integrated embodied intelligence training base in Wuhan, while its related physics simulation research has been accepted for presentation at the RSS 2026 conference.
