Gasgoo Munich-Gasgoo has learned that Neusoft Group' s intelligent inspection system has officially gone live around the clock at Bridgestone' s Wuxi factory. By embedding a "smart brain" with automated quadruped robot patrols into the plant's core safety framework, the system addresses the blind spots of manual inspections—specifically the lack of coverage during night shifts and in high-risk zones, as well as inconsistent safety standards.
The solution pairs open integration with proprietary software. On the hardware front, the system incorporates industrial-grade quadruped robots equipped with dual-light thermal imaging gimbals, along with gas and ultrasonic detection modules. Built to withstand harsh conditions, these units boast an IP66 protection rating and operate reliably in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C. They can handle complex terrain—steps, gravel, and steep slopes—with a maximum climbing angle of 45 degrees.
On the software and algorithm side, Neusoft has developed custom AI recognition models tailored to specific workshop risks. The system delivers four key quantifiable capabilities: detecting personnel violations, spotting temperature anomalies and leaks, reading gauge values, and identifying unauthorized parking. Its comprehensive hazard detection accuracy holds steady above 90%. An integrated management platform handles the rest—autonomously building maps, scheduling tasks, tracking locations in real time, and pushing alerts within seconds.
Currently, a single unit performs 8.5 hours of effective inspection daily—matching the full workload of multiple manual shifts. The system has been woven into Bridgestone Wuxi' s routine safety operations, with all patrol routes and alert records automatically archived in the cloud. This data supports long-term trend analysis and risk forecasting for management. Neusoft focused on refining the "smart brain" and full-stack integration for this scenario, using standardized interfaces to ensure compatibility with multi-brand robot hardware.
