Size-wise, the new model measures 4,825/1,915/1,660 mm, with a 2,848 mm wheelbase. As an addition to the line-up, it retains the current The Next Day urban-contrast design language; split headlamps paired with a three-section intake give it a distinctive look.
Powertrain: a plug-in hybrid built around a 1.5T Evo engine, with 3DHT Evo hybrid AWD + eAWD. The dual-motor setup pairs a P3 motor rated at 180 kW with a P4 at 156 kW, for a combined 456 kW and 905 N·m; 0–100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds. The single-motor system delivers 280 kW and 615 N·m. Depending on trim, CLTC pure-electric range options are 120 km, 245 km, or 220 km.
2026 Changan Mazda CX-50 Xingye
On Jan 3, Changan Mazda launched the 2026 CX-50 Xingye in three trims, offering 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter naturally aspirated engines, with guide prices ranging from 139,800 to 159,800 yuan.

On the outside, the car leans into an off-road style, using a dot-matrix grille. Headlamps connect with an active front intake for an integrated look. New front and rear parking radars and an opening panoramic sunroof are included.
Power figures: the 2.0-liter NA is rated at 114 kW and 200 N·m; the 2.5-liter NA at 138 kW and 250 N·m. Both pair with a 6-speed automatic featuring manual mode.

The design stays classic: a fastback coupe silhouette with frameless doors, an adaptive three-stage powered rear wing, and quad exhaust outlets. Six body colors will be offered, including Coconut Latte.
Power and dynamics carry over — a 2.0T engine mated to a 9AT, plus MCDC electronic suspension and an E-LSD. For reference, the current model is priced from 125,900 to 178,900 yuan.
2026 XPENG P7+,G7 Super Range-Extended
XPENG announced its two core models — the 2026 XPENG P7+ and the G7 — will usher in a "dual-capability in one car" era. Both will debut in China on Jan 8 and reach Europe on Jan 9.

Among them, the company claims the 2026 XPENG P7+ retains the segment’s largest interior, with comprehensive upgrades to cabin refinement and comfort — 104 user-experience improvements and updates covering 36% of primary assemblies.
Powertrain options include both BEV and range-extended versions; the latter targets a combined range of 1,550 km, while the BEV offers 725 km. XPENG says the P7+ range-extended variant delivers the world’s longest pure-electric range among range-extended coupe sedans at 430 km, and fully adopts an 800V high-voltage architecture with a 5C ultra-fast-charging AI battery.
The XPENG G7 Super Range-Extended is the first SUV in the brand’s Kunpeng Super Range-Extended family, with a combined range of 1,704 km (55.8 kWh battery + 60 L tank, compatible with 92-octane gasoline). It also supports 430 km of pure-electric range and features the segment’s only 800V + 5C ultra-fast-charging AI battery.
