It's been reported that Dongfeng Nissan's first SUV will be launched by the end of next year, and will debut at Guangzhou Auto Show next March. It is reported that the new model is neither X-TRAIL, nor Qashqai, it is a brand new model targeting the Chinese market.
A source from Dongfeng said Dongfeng Nissan's first SUV will be launched in the first quarter of next year; however the specific configuration and price about the model was not disclosed.
Dongfeng Nissan had introduced Qashqai and X-TRAIL. Both models, made in China, are designed and produced on the C-class platform developed by Nissan Renault. Dongfeng Nissan's other models are developed on the B-class platform.
